Ian Fraser appointed Executive Director of Run Ottawa
Local entrepreneur and former national elite triathlete takes helm on September 9th
Ottawa, September 3, 2019 – Run Ottawa today announced it has appointed a new Executive Director and Race Director. Ian Fraser, a successful local entrepreneur and former elite triathlete will take the helm on September 9th, 2019.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ian is a graduate from Carleton University. He is the former owner and partner at Somersault Events, Human Power Performance and Cyclelogik. A multi-dimensional entrepreneur with a long history of community engagement and advocacy, Ian has volunteered for the board of OCISO not for profit housing corporation, the Wellington West BIA, and is currently on the Board of Invest Ottawa.

The 2020 Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend will take place May 23-24, 2020. Run Ottawa’s popular Cookie Run, presented by Bushtukah, will take place Saturday, November 2 at Lansdowne Park.
